Owner / Instructor

After having my life changed by mommy-friendly fitness classes called Stroller Strides in San Diego, CA, I have returned to my hometown of Cincinnati to launch a new FIT4MOM franchise offering Stroller Strides and FIT4BABY classes.

With over 20 years of dance experience, including 3 years on the Xavier University Dance Team, I have lead a high energy and active lifestyle. While pregnant in 2014 I developed pre-eclamppsia and was placed on strict hospital bedrest for 5 weeks. I lost most of my muscle tone, strength and energy during pregnancy and postpartum. I had an emergency c-section at 32 weeks and my preemie son weighed 2 lb. 13oz.

We had a challenging first few months, and I was determined to start working out again after my doctor gave me clearance, but as a single mom with no family in town, childcare was an obstacle until I discovered FIT4MOM. I began taking Stroller Strides classes in January 2015 and was able to regain my strength and health while bonding with my son and connecting with other moms. I became a Certified Stroller Strides and FIT4BABY instructor in December of 2015 and have had the opportunity to substitute teach Stroller Strides classes in San Diego during early 2016.

My favorite part of FIT4MOM is that it was founded by a mom and lovingly created for mothers. That's right - all of these programs are made for you mamas! Coming from a career in the male-dominated automotive industry, I was looked down on and even bullied for being a new mom. I needed a Village that was accepting and nurturing of my new role as a mom, and FIT4MOM has filled that void for me. I can't wait to expand this Village and empower as many women as possible in Cincinnati. F4MBAM is a safe space for all mamas at any stage of motherhood to reclaim some time for her!

So, pack up your stroller and your kiddo(s) and join me for a fun 60 minute workout at one of our locations in Blue Ash or Montgomery. Don't forget to join us for a FREE weekly Village playgroup.

I am mom to 3-year-old Ozzie and 10-month-old Frankie.

I joined Stroller Strides back in 2014 when my son was born because I needed a way to connect with other moms. Even though I was SO nervous to show up by myself, I knew that finding a village was important to my mental health and wellness as a new mom. And I'm so glad I went! Those ladies helped me navigate my first few months of motherhood, showing me so much patience and grace. And there was a lot of laughter, too! We've moved several times since then, finally landing in Cincinnati. I'm excited to be a part of the F4MBAM team and this incredible village.

Online Marketing Coordinator

Little nuggets: Chloe (3 years) and Cora (1 year)

Thoughts about FIT4MOM: My husband and I moved back to the States after living abroad for two years when I was 8 months pregnant with my daughter, Chloe. My first FIT4MOM event was a Mom's Night Out while I was still pregnant. I did my first Stroller Strides class at 6 weeks postpartum, and joined FIT4MOM BAM when we moved from Chicago to Cincinnati in 2017. I literally cannot imagine motherhood without FIT4MOM. The friends I've met and the connections I've made in my Villages are so special to me.

One piece of advice for moms regarding FIT4MOM: I know Fit is in our name, and that's a big part of what we do. But it is so much more. You can join us for our fitness classes, but you'll be met with fun and support from other moms that will really add value to your daily life.

What else are you passionate about: I work part-time as a Director for an online marketing company. Between that and motherhood, life is pretty hectic! I'm passionate about packing as much fun and love into life as I can, even when things get crazy.

F4MBAM Community Relations Coordinator

Over the past several years, I have developed a love for group fitness and the community, support, and empowerment it can provide. Since becoming a mom, I have realized how important that truly is! I love having the support of fellow moms to push me through a work out, but also in working through the ups and downs of our motherhood adventures.

I strongly believe in the value of fit pregnancy and fitness in motherhood. I stayed very active throughout both of mine, and even performed in a pole fitness and aerial showcase 15 weeks pregnant with my second daughter. Fitness is not only good for me, but sets a good example for my children.

I have two silly girls, Alice (3) and Anna (1), and a wonderful husband who embraces the silliness.

I have a BA in Communication from Ohio State University, and before becoming a stay home mom, I worked in non profits, theater, and real estate in a variety of positions from administrative to marketing.

I also enjoy yoga, pole fitness, crochet, and volunteering with Ohio Alleycat Resource: I organize their quarterly Yoga with Cats fundraising event.
